At the meeting, the preparation of the standard committee was introduced, and the organization structure of group standards of forging press Association and the key work plan of group standards in 2019 were discussed and approved. The first standardization working Committee was confirmed to be composed of 32 members of the director/deputy director, 33 experts of the expert advisory Committee and 19 members of the secretary group, and the responsibilities and division of work of the standardization Council and working committee of the forging association group were clarified. Meanwhile, the trial measures for the standard management of China Forging Association were issued.

ASME Standard System Composition and Standard Setting Process

In the lecture part of the conference, the leaders of national competent departments and many industry experts present the significance of group standards for forging industry, and their deep expectations for the group standards committee of China Forging Association, and they express that they will actively participate in and promote the construction of group standards for forging industry. Several experts from the Chinese Forging Association also introduced their valuable experience and cases accumulated in the process of team standard setting from the perspective of their respective industries, hoping that the group standard committee members of the Forging Association could get reference from them in the working process.

In the discussion part of the meeting, all the representatives had a discussion on the theme "How to promote the development of group standard work". The participants expressed their views and had an in-depth discussion. Representatives from Guizhou Hangyu, Shanxi Jinrui, Nanjing Deweir and other enterprises also had an in-depth exchange of views on the problems encountered in their participation in the team's standard formulation process.

Questions concerning the transformation and absorption of intellectual property rights involved in foreign standards, the uneven quality of products under the same standards, whether the standards should stipulate processing methods or inspection standards or performance, and how high-end enterprises formulate universal group standards have been answered one by one.

In the future, the group standard work will be more and more deeply involved in the industrial production, promoting the standardized production of enterprises in the industry, and improving the production and operation of enterprises in the industry.
